Yorga Permana, PhD
Yorga Permana is a member of the Board of Trustees of Industrial Policy Lab. He is also a labour market policy specialist, serving as an expert advisor to Indonesia’s Ministry of Manpower and an Assistant Professor at the School of Business and Management, Institut Teknologi Bandung.
His work focuses on labour economics, job creation, and the future of work, with research published in Regional Studies and New Technology, Work and Employment. He also contributes to public discourse through writings in Kompas, The Jakarta Post, the LSE Southeast Asia Blog, and The Conversation. He holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Rifqi Febrian, MPA
SupervisorRifqi is the Supervisory Officer of Industrial Policy Lab. His research explores how energy and economic policy, and the politics surrounding them, shape technological change in green industrial sectors across developing economies. He draws on a range of methods, from energy system modeling to impact evaluation, to generate evidence that sharpens energy and economic policy.
Rifqi is currently a doctoral student in technology and energy policy at Princeton University, and holds a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung and a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University.
Januardy Djong, MBA
Januardy is a member of the Board of Trustees of Industrial Policy Lab. His expertise spans strategy, industrial policy, infrastructure, energy, and investment, with a particular focus on the institutional and market conditions that drive long-term economic transformation.
He brings experience across investing, management consulting, and the energy sector. He previously worked at an infrastructure investment firm, at McKinsey & Company in New York, and at Royal Dutch Shell in the Netherlands, where his work covered strategy, investment evaluation, and major capital allocation decisions. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MSc in Engineering and Policy Analysis from Delft University of Technology, and a BEng from Nanyang Technological University.

Faris Abdurrachman, MS
Lead EconomistFaris is the Lead Economist at Industrial Policy Lab. His research focuses on macroeconomics and development economics, particularly in the design of industrial policy for emerging economies.
Faris brings extensive experience in policy analysis and a rigorous understanding of economics and quantitative methods to the Industrial Policy Lab team. Previously, he was a Research Analyst at the International Monetary Fund. He holds an MS in Quantitative Economics from New York University Stern School of Business and a BA in Economics from the University of Indonesia. Away from work, Faris spends his time either playing with his tabby cat, or travelling with his beloved wife.

Kafi Prasetya, MS
Kafi is the Policy Lead at Industrial Policy Lab. He is an engineer by training and a policy analyst by practice. His experience spans government, the private sector, and regional institutions.
He has contributed to national-level policy through Indonesia's Ministry of Investment and Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. Kafi also brings a regional perspective from his tenure at the ASEAN Secretariat. His background as a consultant and project manager gives him a concrete understanding of how policy works on the ground. He holds a BE in Chemical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung and an MSc in Environment, Politics and Development from SOAS University of London.

Bambang Trihadmojo, M.Sc, MA
Sustainability LeadBambang is the Sustainability Lead at Industrial Policy Lab. His work focuses on decarbonization, climate finance, sustainable behavior, and nature conservation.
Bambang advances green industrialization in Indonesia through international cooperation. He actively participates in global climate negotiations, including the UNFCCC Conferences of the Parties and the Standing Committee on Finance. He holds a BPsych from the University of Muhammadiyah Malang, an MA in Sociology from Northwestern University, and an MSc in Social Psychology from Lancaster University. Bambang is also an avid traveler who enjoys hiking and forest bathing.

Nadine Hafiza
Finance and Operational Manager
Nadine oversees finance and operations for Industrial Policy Lab. She previously managed investment and government policy projects as a public sector consultant for a state-owned enterprise.
She is completing her M.S. in Green Growth and Sustainability at KAIST. Her research focuses on the techno-economic analysis (TEA) and life cycle assessment (LCA) of mineral resources. Nadine earned her undergraduate degree in Environmental Engineering from Universitas Indonesia. She enjoys staying active at the gym and studying Korean in her spare time.
